I made this blanket for "Baby Sister" even though she will be born in December (or maybe the end of November). We do live in Florida where it doesn't get
that cold, so maybe she will be able to use it some. The pattern is called "Snowflake;" do you see why? It's nice to have something put away for her, and now I can try to find a more practical blanket for her to use this
winter. More practical, yes, but just as pretty! I wish I had a closer picture so you could see the variegation in the yarn, although you can see it a little bit in this picture.

That is so beautiful!! And yes, it looks wonderful for a Florida baby! :)
That is a beautiful blanket! Where did you get the pattern? Is it from the other circular baby blanket book? You did a great job on it!
Thanks, Charity!
Yes, Laura, this pattern is from the second circular baby afghan book. Now I've got more patterns that I want to make than time to make them!
This is beautiful!! I love it!! Is it knitted or crocheted?
Aurie, thank you! It's crocheted. I tried knitting a few years ago, but I prefer to crochet.
