Inflation Tracking

I started watching the Glenn Beck show recently. Both my father and my mother-in-law suggested, at different times, that we start watching this show, and when that happens, well, I figure I should listen.

While watching his show last week, Beck briefly talked about a website As a Mom which calls itself a "Sisterhood of Mommy Patriots." That name got my attention. Anyway, as (I hope) you know, food prices are increasing, and this website is tracking that. They are looking for volunteers to help track prices at their local grocery stores. They haven't started yet, but I thought I would let you know in case you were interested in participating.

While the government may tell us that inflation is not occurring, I disagree. With this tool, I can help monitor the increases in price as they happen. I think it will be informative to see how prices rise all over the country.

If you would like to participate, head over to As a Mom.

My Mom watches that show too. I agree though prices are going up! Last week the generic Wal-Mart butter (1 # of quarters) was $2.98. Two day later it was $4.38!!!! That is just plain crazy!

Blessings!
