Spaghetti and Backpacks

On top of spaghetti, all covered with cheese,
I lost my poor meatball when somebody sneezed.
It rolled off the table and onto the floor,
And then my poor meatball rolled out of the door.
It rolled in the garden and under a bush,
And now my poor meatball is nothing but mush!

I made meatballs for the first time last night, and we enjoyed them. I must admit, however, that it seemed counterproductive to form nice round meatballs, and then to have to cut them up for Sarah Beth and Daniel to eat. We sang that song when I was in kindergarden, and I enjoyed teaching it to Sarah Beth and Daniel last night while I making supper.

Have you ordered your free (after rebate) backpack from Staples yet? I ordered ours Monday morning, and it arrived yesterday afternoon. I couldn't believe it got here so quickly, especially since I received free shipping, too. I think maybe it's just a little too big for Sarah Beth. What do you think?

Since Sarah Beth got the new backpack, Daniel got Sarah Beth's old one. He was thrilled with it, so I don't feel too badly about not getting him a new one, too. His backpack is more appropriately sized.

Of course, I'll share! It was just ground beef, 1/2 cup of Italian seasoned bread crumbs, and and egg. Easy!
