Our First Outing

Today I took all three children out for the very first time. Where did we go? We went to IHOP, of course, for their free pancakes! Rachel even got dressed for the first time; she has been wearing pajamas because they are good and warm (and easy!).

I met my good friend Laura and another friend at IHOP. All together, there were 10 children and three adults. We received quite a few stares and a couple of comments, too. One lady even thought we were a daycare field trip! Here are all of our children except for the youngest two because they were sitting at the "adult" table. Oh, there is another one missing, too; I guess he just didn't want to be in the picture.

Did you get your free pancakes today? Did you get any weird stares? What about funny comments?

Rachel is such a cutie! I did not get pancakes today because, of course, I'm at work. Boo! Glad you got to enjoy the freebie, though :)

Yay for first outing - it can be a bit of a mental hurdle, I think, and once you prove that you can do it, it gets easier.... in theory!

Cute photos as always!

Angela, I'm sorry that you missed them. They were all day, so you could have had them for supper. Oh, well. Maybe next year you can get some friends together and meet for lunch (and wow people with all your children) like we did this year.

WOW! I hope they were nice comments! We were at an IHOP but they were packed, lined up outside and with two hungry boys we just ate at Wendy's next door.....can I just say YUCK!

Blessings!!!

Marva, yes, they were nice comments. Our IHOP wasn't crowded at all. It was nicely full, but there was no waiting which was very nice. We would not have stayed if it had been that busy.
