Rainy Day

It's a cold and rainy day here. I'm glad that it's raining, though, because I hate cloudy days when it doesn't rain. What's the point in a cloudy day with no rain? Days like that depress me, but I enjoy a nice rainy day. I think when I get off the computer, I will make myself a cup of tea (I always want to pronounce it cup o' tea) to drink while I crochet. Both children are upstairs: Daniel is sleeping, and Sarah Beth is playing in her room.

I do hope it stops raining, however, before I go to the grocery store tonight.

Ugh...I hate rain...unless it's night time and I'm asleep. I had to go to Target the other day while I had Dallas with me and it was raining. That was not. fun. at. all.

I like rainy days like this too, as long as there aren't too many of them in a row. Great day to stay home, stay warm, and get some things done! I need to go to the grocery store too, but I'm definitely not taking the kids out unless it stops.

I only like rainy days if it's time to snuggle into bed..which I guess would make it a rainy night actually, lol. But I know what you mean about cloudy, overcast days.

What's your favorite flavor of tea? I don't drink coffee myself (yes, I know that makes me an oddball:) so I love to talk to a fellow tea-drinker.

Mykidsmom, I don't like flavored teas; I've tried several, and they just don't appeal to me at all. I like just plain, old Lipton tea. John introduced me to drinking it hot recently, and I enjoy it. I really like that it warms me up, and there are so few calories in it.

I cannot stand coffee. Honestly, I've never tried it, but I don't even like the smell. Thankfully, God gave me a husband who doesn't like coffee, either.
