A Handmade Christmas

I finally finished my Christmas stars project last week. It has only taken me two and a half months, but I am very proud of what I have accomplished. Maybe it will even become a family heirloom; it's a bit early to tell. Right now they are sitting just like that on our dining room table which is the only place big enough to hold them (and enough out of the way that they won't get spoiled by little fingers!).

If we do any entertaining this week coming up, I plan to do this with it. I just need to get a pillar candle. I don't want to leave the crystal candle holder there, again, because of little fingers. (I can just see little shards of glass all over the floor.)

To see what others have been making for Christmas, or to add your own link, head over to Proverbs 31 Living.

Very nice! I love all the detail in it. I understand about projects taking a while. Sometimes I push and get things done quickly but with crocheting or knitting my projects usually take some time.

Thanks for linking up to A Handmade Christmas!

It's been fun watching your progress on this project. Thanks for sharing it with us along the way. I've been looking forward to seeing it, and it turned out even more impressive than I imagined.
