WIP Wednesday

This is how much I have gotten done with my shawl this week. It measures about 14" by 18." It really is working up quickly, although I haven't had much opportunity to work on it.

If only I knew what we were having.... I have some very pretty patterns for baby blankets, but do I make pink or blue?

For more works in progress, head over to the Place of H.

That's going to be really beautiful, and congratulations on the new baby! Maybe you could start a blanket in a nice green or yellow or white, and by the time you finish it and your shawl, you might know what your having.

Or, you could start on those socks, lol.

I like that pattern! Do you have a lot of boy/girl specific blankets right now already? If so, maybe a nice multi-color that could go either way, instead of yellow or green?

I just gave you an award on my blog :)

Better just go with blue since John doesn't like pink..lol. Just joking of course:)

I love the multi-colored baby blankets (blue, yellow, green, pink). They just make me feel good when I see them.

I like the multi-colored blankets, too, but that is more yarn ends to weave through. Which means a possibility of more yarn ends coming unraveled.

This is going to be a beautiful shawl!

Side note...in our old church (which was an old church!) they had shawls hanging on hooks by the front door in the foyer for anyone who wanted to use one. I don't think anyone ever did because they were kind of dusty looking. It made me laugh. :o)
