I had a lovely Mother's Day yesterday. It started with Dunkin' Donuts for breakfast which John graciously picked up because I decided that I was not going to fix breakfast. Sarah Beth gobbled hers up as fast as she could, but Daniel doesn't seem to like donuts; he only ate a quarter of it and then started fussing. Of course, I ate mine fairly quickly, too. Yum! And a special treat! I cannot remember the last time I have had a donut; Daniel has never had one; but I think my mom gave Sarah Beth one once.
We don't usually do big gifts for these types of days, but when John asked me what I wanted, I knew immediately what I wanted to ask for: a radio/CD player that mounts under the cabinet. Guess what I received? You guessed it! Do you see it in that picture above, along with the beautiful flowers that John got me as well?
We didn't do anything yesterday, other than attend church as normal. It was nice to stay home and rest up. Besides, I am a homebody, and I like to be home!
How was your Mother's Day? I hope you had a good one.

Would you believe they don't have Dunkin'Donuts out here? I love their vanilla creme-filled donuts! They had them all over the Midwest, and I worked at 3 different Dunkin'Donuts during my college years.
Nice CD player and flowers! Glad you had a great Mother's Day. This homebody (meaning me) stayed home as well, but my kiddies gave me a digital picture key ring that I had been pining for:)
Nice! Adam gave me an under-the-counter CD/DVD/radio for my birthday, and I LOVE it! It's nice to be able to put my brain to work while I'm working in the kitchen. :) Your flowers are beautiful!
I'm glad you had a nice mother's day! Dustin gave me my first mother's day card, and it made me cry. I'm so excited to be celebrating this holiday!
Great cd player - and well away from little fingers too!
