Anyway, it feels a little surreal to me. I am home doing my normal Monday routine while the rest of the city is on Spring Break. I have cleaned the bathrooms, vacuumed, swept, etc. while my husband is watching the practice rounds at the tournament. My children don't know that it is Spring Break, and what does it matter anyway? Break from what? School? We aren't doing that yet. I feel caught in the Twilight Zone while the rest of the world keeps going. Oh, well. In a few years, we will be able to leave the Twilight Zone and join the rest of the world in Spring Break, once that is, we have something to break from.
What about you? What are you doing (or what did you do) for Spring Break?

Wow, that's a late Spring break! I'm guessing your local schools must not let out until mid-June. I can't even imagine schooling into the Summer months (which translates to nice weather around here). I would go crazy;)
Does that mean John has the week off?
As I told MyKidsMom earlier, I would love to have a spring break from work....but I have to save all of my time off for when I have the baby. Someday, though, I'm going to have time again to go to the beach. Someday.
Mykidsmom, I'm not exactly sure when school gets out, but I think it is mid to late May. No, John does not have the week off; he just took today off. Of course, we won't see him all day long.
Angela, I know what you mean. I used to wish for a week off from work, too. Do you plan to go back to work after having your baby? Why do you need to save your vacation?
I school until mid July every year. Nikki just enjoy your days now when the kids are little. Be thankful you dont need to go on spring break. Home with the babies is what life is all about!
Spring break here starts next week. Usually it is one month earlier. Our schools get out for summer vacation May 28th (I think).
Hope you got your washer and all is going well.
