- My name!
- Nice. I think I am a nice person.
- Neat. John suggested that one when I asked for suggestions.
- New, as in new hairdryer. I need one because mine has been acting up for a while. It works great for a few weeks, then it works poorly for a while, then it works great again. I would hate for it to go out while we are in Louisiana because I don't know if my mother-in-law has one, and I don't want to go to the wedding with my hair in a ponytail.
- Numbers. I like numbers. I enjoyed math in high school. I hate to admit it, but I often spent my Friday evenings during my senior year at home working calculus homework.
- Nine. I have nine pairs of shoes that I wear regularly, and this includes the sandals that I wear all summer. I have a few more pairs of shoes that I do not wear very often, e.g. my riding boots. I obviously only wear (wore) those when I rode my horse. Since I don't ride anymore, I don't wear those boots anymore.
- Novels. I don't just enjoy reading novels, but I also enjoy collecting them. My long-time readers know by now that I have aspirations to be a librarian when I grow up.
- Naptime. I love my children immensely, but I love naptime, too. That is when I get the things done that I cannot do when they are awake. Naptime is my time to crochet, fold clothes, mop the floor, and blog.
- Niece. I am Angela's and Dayna's mother's niece. (Can you tell that I'm reaching here?)
- Nincompoop. I don't think I am a nincompoop, but people who are don't usually know it, do they? If I am, will you let me know gently. I would appreciate it.
There you have it: my list of ten things that start with the letter N. Would you like to play? If so, leave me a comment, and I will assign you a letter.

LOL Well done Nikki!
"When you grow up" huh? :)
Appreciate those nap times, they will end much too soon. And No, you are not a nincompoop (and I thought I did a good job with know-it-all and knucklehead, lol). And you are definitely a nice person, or I wouldn't hang around you, right? ;)
Oh yes (evidently I'm not done talking yet) I also love to collect books, which you already know. There is something about owning a book, versus just borrowing from the library. I do that too, but only because I'm not rich enough to buy them all, lol. I think I'm done now, until I think of something else I want to say:)
Okay, okay....I'll play this game. Please, though, assign me an easy letter. I'm not sure if I could handle anything too terribly complicated.
Just so you'll know (because I'm pretty sure that MyKidsMom will read this, too) I did have a terrible time deciding which of you to leave a comment saying that I wanted to participate. But you tagged me in your post, so I guess that's how I decided. :)
Also, you're not a nincompoop and you are nice, I love naps and books, I hate numbers, I just got a new hair dryer, and I am YOUR mother's niece.
You're right Angela, I did read your comment, lol.
I'm a little disapointed, because I had the letter "C" for creativity just waiting for you.
Fine, go with your cousin instead. Really, I'm not offended. Honestly, I'm not. Seriously. Not.One.Bit.
Mykidsmom, heehee! Angela likes me better! Angela likes me better! Hahahahaha!
Give her a hard letter...like X or Z. lol
I already gave her C for creativity, just like you were going to. Great minds think alike, don't they?!
Just wondering if you are going to do recipe fun Friday today. We'll be gone most of the day at a Science lab, then a Doctor's appt., but I do plan to try a new recipe tonight. So I thought I would post it later today (possibly very late your time). I'll check when I get back to see if you posted.
Have a great day!:)
Nincompoop! I thought of that word at the beginning when I was deciding whether or not I could come up with 10 words that start with "N"... great minds think alike. ;o)
