Here is another baby blanket I started and almost completed while I was pregnant with Daniel. I decided I should finish my unfinished projects before starting something new. I made this blanket with the purpose of donating it to our local Care Pregnancy Center, but it turned out prettier than I thought. I will keep to my original plan, though. I can always make another one since it uses leftover yarn from other projects, and I have plenty of that! I couldn't get the whole blanket in this picture, either, although it is much smaller than the first one.

If you have a work in progress, you ought to join the fun over at the Place of H!

They are both so pretty Nikki, but I especially like the second one.
So I have to have a baby to get a blanket from you, huh? That's asking an awful lot you know, lol. I'll have to think about it:)
I just have to say again that your new blog look is SO nice. The lined paper in the background just ties in so well with the title. Dustin/Angela really did a good job.
Mykidsmom, what else would you do with a baby blanket if you didn't have a baby?
I love the new look!!! I love the note paper to go with Nicki's NOTES!
Clever... I love it!
Snuggle with it in my favorite chair. It could cover my legs, or my arms, or my lap... just not all at the same time, lol:)
Babychaser, thanks!
Beautiful, Nikki. I can't wait to see what you make next.
I love the design of the first one, very pretty. The second one looks so very FUN. Not to make per se but to look at. Perfect for any baby! Reminds me of blocks. I'd love the pattern for them if you're willing to share. =)
