This morning, one of my good, good friends came over to visit. She lives in Pennsylvania, but her parents are still here, so she is down here occasionally. Usually her visits are too short for us to get together, but it worked out this time. Yea!! We have been friends since we were little, maybe the third and fourth grade. Our birthdays are exactly 53 weeks apart which is neat, too, don't you think? Do you have a friend that is does not matter how long it has been since you have seen her? You just pick up where you left off last time? Well, Erin is one of those friends for me.
Let's see: both children are in bed, although I do not think Daniel is asleep yet, so I think I will get off the computer, prop up my feet, and watch something good I have taped (I love our DVR) while I crochet. I hope you have a good afternoon. I wish those cloudy skies would turn into rainy skies.

It has really rained here for the past 18 or so hours. We may get up to 2 or 3 inches.
Oh dear Nikki, you can have our rain. PLEASE,please take it! The weather is being so odd here, snow one day, downpours of rain the next. And tonight we have another rain storm coming.
So between the three of you, there wasn't a digital camera? lol Angela seems as picture happy as I am, I can't believe she didn't take any. I'm glad you had a good visit with them.

I have a friend like that who I see every couple years. It's like time stands still, we just pick up where we left off. I think as women we really need that. And kindred spirits just don't seem as common as they were in Anne's days:) I'm glad you were able to get in a visit with her this time.
But don't you think you went a little bit long between posts? This blogging thing makes me think I need to know the daily activities of all my blogging friends,lol. Thank goodness my list isn't too long:)
Actually, Ladies, the sun is out right this very minute. He comes out for a few minutes, just enough to tease me, then he hides behind more clouds.
Mykidsmom, poor Michael! I didn't think about that. Poor Michael again because my sister tried to set him up with someone while he was here. I'm sorry that I went a little long between posts. Between guests and catching up after guests, well, I just ran out of time. I'm sure you know how it is.

Yes, I will agree with the poor Michael...but for Nikki's reason -- not mykidsmom's. As far as I know, Michael has not qualms about being single.
I am very, very sorry that we didn't get any pictures. I even thought that we should do it before we left Sunday afternoon, but then I got distracted by something and forgot.
