WIP Wednesday

First, I want to show you the placemats I finished and how they look on our table.  We also bought that little Christmas tree which is actually a rosemary plant.  It smells so good, and now I have fresh rosemary when I need it.

I have also been busily working on those coasters.  I think I will have enough to have another giveaway for my 300th post next week.  Stay tuned.

Lastly,  here is that baby blanket I'm still working on.  Another of my friends is having a boy in April, so I look forward to working on that blanket, too.

For other works in progress, head over to the Place of H.

I love the little rosemary tree! Where did you get it?

Laura, we got it at Lowe's over by us. We got it when we got our Christmas tree. I think it was $10, but it's alive, so I may plant it outside after Christmas. I may keep inside, though, just for the smell.

I especially like those placemats and I want a rosemary topiary! I love the way rosemary smells and it looks cool. I wonder though...I tend to neglect my indoor plants. How hardy are herbs, anyway?

How did you do the placemats? Maybe the boys could do that for our table and for family gifts.

It looks so nice Niki! I imagine that Rosemary does smell wonderful.

We'll stay tuned:)

I was referring to your table setting by the way. The blanket looks lovely as always:) You seem to have a steady stream of babies to make blankets for.

BigSis, I don't know how hardy herbs are. This is the first one I have had, and we just got it Monday night. I crocheted the placemats. It was an easy pattern; it was just time-consuming weaving all the yarn through.

Mykidsmom, my friends and I seem to be in that stage of life where we keep having babies. Since I enjoy making baby blankets the most, it's fun for me!
