Cookie?

Does this picture look like a cookie to you? Last night, Sarah Beth was looking through this book (Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you See?), and when she got to this picture, she said, "cookie." John and I looked at each other wondering where that came from. Then I realized what she was thinking. We call the goldfish snack crackers "cookies," and she apparently extrapolated this picture of a goldfish to the ones she eats, hence "cookie!"

Good job on figuring that one out!

I love interacting with little children, they have fascinating minds, and say the funniest things.

Toddlers are so much smarter than I ever thought! My dad read a study a while back that he disagreed with that said toddlers couldn't think abstractly. If that is not abstract thinking and logic, I don't know what is!!!!
